Association Involvement
At T.C. Jacoby & Co., we’re committed to being a catalyst in the dairy industry and ensuring our customers are as successful as they can be. We’re proudly involved with organizations that have the same goal we do: to further the interests and success of the industry and those who work within it. Everyone fares better when we work together for the good of the industry.
U.S. Dairy Export Council (USDEC) – The USDEC was founded in 1995 with a mission to increase global demand of dairy products made in the United States. T.C. Jacoby & Co. was a founding member of the Council because we believed that the health of our customers —and the dairy industry in general— would be greatly improved by marketing our products to developing markets overseas. By leading the way in exports, T.C. Jacoby & Co. solidified its role as a trusted source of expertise in an industry where the international market plays a bigger role than ever.
American Dairy Products Institute (ADPI) – We’re also deeply involved with the ADPI, which represents the interests of manufacturers of milk- and whey-based products. The Institute plays a critical role in ensuring the market for dairy ingredients is as robust as it can be. That means working to implement standard certifications and specifications for products traded at a commodity level and sending the proper signals to manufacturers in times of market uncertainty. Our customers depend on our advice in difficult market conditions. With the help of ADPI and other industry partners, we deliver on our promise to offer sound insight for the good of our customers’ operations.
International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA) – IDFA represents dairy processors, manufacturers and marketers. Composed of the Milk Industry Foundation, the National Cheese Institute and the International Ice Cream Association, IDFA uses the resources offered by its members to help shape state, federal and international policies affecting the dairy industry. With decades of experience in the dairy industry, T.C. Jacoby & Co. has played a leading role as an IDFA member to help craft sensible rules and regulations that protect the success of our customers while maintaining a safe food supply.
National Milk Producers Federation (NMPF) – The Federation was formed in 1916 to strengthen dairy producers and cooperatives throughout the country. Representing the majority of domestic milk suppliers, the NMPF develops and promotes policies responsive to issues that affect the production and marketing of milk. By improving the well-being of the nation’s milk producers, the Federation ensures a steady supply of fresh, healthy milk and dairy products for all Americans.
We’re also proudly involved with the following dairy industry partners:
California Creamery Operators Association (CCOA)
Cheese Importers Association of America (CIAA)
Idaho Milk Processors Association (IMPA)
Institute of Food Technologists (IFT)
